All 10 Second Servers will be housed in WebCentral's telecommunications-grade data centre facilities, using industry leading virtualisation technologies. Our data centres are staffed 24x7x365 and include the following key attributes:

Connectivity Capacity

WebCentral boasts multiple high-speed links to all major Australian internet backbones, which helps to ensure that information from your 10 Second Server will route via the fastest possible connection to the end user.

Network

WebCentral uses Cisco routers exclusively in a redundant configuration at the network core and.borders.

UPS

Redundant UPS systems which help to ensure that servers remain operational during short power outages, brownouts and power spikes.

Power Generation

	Diesel generator back-up with auto fail-over.
	Generator is preheated to help to ensure it can build to full load as quickly as possible.

Generator Fuel Capacity

	12 hour fuel capacity on-site with 24x7 fuel supplier.
	1,000 litre storage tank.

	Constant 21¼C +/- 2¼C.
	Relative humidity 50% +/- 10%.

Air-Conditioning System Type

Industrial air handling units delivering cooled air to help to protect your 10 Second Server from overheating.

On Floor Coolers

Liebert process coolers configured to n+1 as a minimum or 125% of load.

Smoke Detection

Aspirated smoke detection system with multi-point sampling locations and three stage alert system (VESDA).

Fire Extinguishers

CO2 extinguishers used throughout data centre.

Fire Suppression

	FM200.
	Rapid discharge of gas within 10 seconds to flood the affected area.

Security

	Entry to data centre is protected by a proximity access control system, helping to ensure that only authorised personnel can gain access.
	A CCTV system is also in place.
