SQL Add-On

What is it?
Our SQL Add-On gives customers the ability to add SQL functionality to their 10 Second Server without the upfront capital expenditure, by enabling WebCentral's fully managed, shared SQL 2000 product.

What do I get?
Enabling the SQL Add-On provides you access to your own database on a shared SQL 2000 server with the following specifications:

	150MB of database storage (including both data and transaction log space)
	Have 35 simultaneous user connections

Customers will be provided with a URL, username and password to access their SQL database on WebCentral's shared SQL 2000 server. WebCentral will be responsible for the installation of software patches and hot fixes as required.

Customers can download an evaluation of Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager and a remote administration tool for managing their SQL database resource from http://www.microsoft.com/sql/evaluation/trial/default.asp. Please install SQL service pack 3a after installing the evaluation. Enterprise Manager will still function after the SQL Server evaluation has timed out.

How do I sign up?
To provision the SQL Add-On on your 10 Second Server, please login to Mission Control and click on the "Add Components" link in the main menu (and select "Add Premier SQL Service"). Alternatively, log a job requesting that the SQL Add-On be enabled on your 10 Second Server, specifying your preferred payment option (i.e. monthly or yearly billing).

Notes

1.	Auto debit payment from major credit cards is the only accepted payment option for 10 Second Server Add-On products and will be charged in accordance with your current payment method.
2.	Additional SQL Disk Space can be purchased for AUD$0.40 per MB per month.
3.	Customers whose databases exceed the number of user connections permitted for their level will find that their excess connections will be automatically terminated. WebCentral takes no responsibility for problems caused by the termination of excessive user connections.
4.	We provide a hosting environment - not a testing environment. Customers hosting SQL databases should be running the database in a similar environment in their premises and testing offline.
